As Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Richard Skufza brings the unique combination of marketing and finance disciplines to E.B.Lane. For more than 20 years in the advertising, marketing and design industries, Richard has embraced the financial stewardship of impressive brands, including Audi of America, Jaguar, GMC Trucks, Celebrity Cruise Lines, American Hawaii Cruise Lines, Arizona Lottery, Cox Communications, Cable One, Arizona Cardinals, Arizona Biltmore, Greater Phoenix Convention and Visitors Bureau, just to name a few.
Although a wiz at crunching numbers, Richard regularly contributes to the creative mix of the agency and has a style and golf swing greatly admired by his colleagues. Richard attended Ohio State University and earned his bachelor’s degree from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio, and a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix. He also has attended executive development programs at J.L. Kellogg graduate school of business at Northwestern University and is a certified public accountant. Richard’s continual drive to learn and stay current in his field has been demonstrated as former Board member of the Arizona Society of CPAs, Valley Big Brothers Big Sisters and as a member of the adjunct faculty for University of Phoenix. He is actively involved with the American Institute of CPAs, the Arizona Society of CPAs and Financial Executives International.
Prior to sharing his leadership and expertise with E.B. Lane, Richard worked for Hewson Properties, SHR Perceptual Management and McGladrey & Pullen (formerly Schulman Klock & Co). He can’t help but smile when he talks about his new grandson, and he beams of pride when asked about his wife of 34 years, Linda, and his son and daughter. Richard enjoys life by watching movies, golfing and spending time with his family.
