So, what keeps me up at night or makes me get up in the morning?
First off, what makes me get up in the morning? Besides wonderful family and friends, two grown children, three grandchildren and a wife of 37 years. I’m proud to be associated with E.B. Lane. I am privileged to work with some very creative and committed people working for some incredible clients. In 2012, E.B. Lane will celebrate its 50-year anniversary. As we plan for 2012 we will continue to create smart, branded national and local advertising that impact the marketplace and lead the industry in providing advertising and public relations that’s on TV, online and on target. Every Body Loves working at E.B. Lane and it shows in everything we do. E.B. Lane was recognized in 2011 as one of the Most Admired Companies in Arizona by Arizona Business Magazine. And recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in Arizona by the Phoenix Business Journal in 2010 and 2011.
So, what keeps me up at night?
I have to be honest sometimes it’s hard to stay positive in the current economic times. The economic uncertainty is a heavy cloud over everyone. As financial types it is not always easy rise above it due to our very nature to be conservative, pragmatic and realistic. But as financial leaders in our organizations we have to rise above these clouds, challenge conventional thinking and focus on the positive in our industries, organizations and communities.
The last year as a member of this distinguished panel has allowed me the opportunity to discuss challenging issues with my colleagues and network with other financial leaders. I thank the Arizona Society of CPAs and the Phoenix Business Journal for inviting me and allowing me to participate on this panel.

So, what keeps you up at night or makes you get up in the morning? Let’s keep the conversation going.
